| Description: | There is a global call for a low-carbon life with the help of the new energy industry. The Chinese Central Government has recognized this emerging industry as strategic priority by making clear the primary idea to “promote the new energy industry” in the 12th Five-year Plan (Energy), The goal to “make the western regions important bases of energy and for emerging industries of strategic significance” was put forward at the Western Development Campaign meeting on July .2010 . The abundant renewable energy sources and geographical advantages in West make the western regions become the important area for new energy development in China. And in order to establish a specialized top-level quality platform of international influence for communication and cooperation in new energies, Chengdu government staged the new energy int’l forum in 2008 、2009and 2010 respectively which has now become the largest, and most significant, specialized and influential meeting in new energy industry in western China. The theme for China (Chengdu) Int’l New Energy Summit and solar Fair 2011 covers three dimensions :” New Energy” “New Western China” “New Market”, which are represented by three theme pavilions. They are theme pavilion of western new energy and comprehensive theme pavilion of international new energy. On the occasion, there will be 50 international new energy companies, 100international and domestic purchasing agents as well as the top 30 domestic new energy companies. By estimate, there will be more than 300 enterprises to participate, and the exhibition area will reach 25,000 square meters. This event is a platform for international communication and cooperation among governments, academies, R&D centers, corporations, and financial institutions. ★ Exhibition Coverage 1.
