The new millennium is an age of rising demands and insufficient resources. The earth is warning us that soon she will be unable to hold the population on it. We have to stop the inefficient use and contamination of earth’s resources with the shortest delay. If we are to achieve much greater reliance on alternative energy sources such as sun, we will at the same time have to greatly improve energy end-use efficiency. Sun, the source of almost all energy we use today is standing as an endless, clean, sustainable resource though we can only benefit from a fraction of it. Lessons learnt in the past lead us to many innovative and rosy solutions today though there is a long way to go. A vision, a strategy, supported by innovative ideas may speed up the procedure and save time - a very tiny resource left for our future. The main objective of the conference is to define a holistic approach for the deployment of renewable energy resources and to define a roadmap to the solar future.
