General Information： The 3rd International Exhibition on Energy Saving & Renewable Sources of Energy, EnergyReS '09, is organised by High Technology Expo which is a full member of the international organisation REEEP (Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Partnership). EnergyReS has been the first and most specialised exhibition with focus on Energy Saving technologies/services and Renewable Energy Sources in South-Eastern Europe. EnergyReS also encompasses contemporary waste management technologies for recycling and waste-to-energy conversion which complement the field for sustainable technologies and environmental protection. The exhibition is combined with parallel events (conferences, seminars & workshops) addressing critical energy topics from an institutional, technological and financial perspective. The promotion of technologies and integrated applications on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources via the exhibition, contributes: • in the reduction of conventional energy sources • in the promotion “clean” and renewable energy sources such as the wind, the sun, the water • in environmental awareness and sensitization of professionals and private individuals As a result, through EnergyReS, a boost is given to energy technologies and services towards the protection of environment, the improvement of quality of life, the sustainable development and the reduction of energy dependence from conventional energy sources. EnergyReS Objectives： • To offer the opportunity to those involved in the areas of clean energy production and energy efficiency, to promote their products and services in Greece and the broader region • To pave the way for new business co-operations and investments in Greece and South-Eastern Europe Additionally: • To disseminate contemporary technologies, products and services related to renewable energies, rational use of energy, energy efficiency, recycling and waste treatment • To provide solutions – to security of supply, energy independence, rising demand, and mitigation of climate change • To create energy conscience and raise environmental concern among the general public |
