| Descrizione: | Ⅰ. Conference Focus:
At the 2012 marcus evans MEA conference, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss strategies to make alternative energy options less expensive, build a plausible business case for alternatives, and create a successful working environment with stakeholders in an effort to meet their energy efficiency and security targets. As opposed to last year's event, which was more theoretically focused, this year's program will focus on the ways in which the DoD is implementing renewable technology to achieve energy efficiency and security, at the operational level. With many different technologies reaching maturity and advancing in the testing phases, we will include sufficient content on the efficacy and applicability of these technologies for the following military functions: tactical power, installation energy, and alternative fuels. Ⅱ. Key Conference Topics: ● Ensure optimal security of critical military assets through the deployment of stable microgrids ● Set a failproof operational energy strategy through a unified understanding of military-wide requirements ● Stay abreast of the latest research efforts in renewable and hybrid solutions ● Increasing efficiency at CONUS and international installations ● Improve soldier outcomes with renewables advances at the tactical level Ⅲ. Who Should Attend the Conference: We invite DoD and senior level DOE personnel with responsibilities in: Alternative Energy/Power (solar, wind, hydro, etc) Energy Programs Installations Logistics Contracting R&D Project Management Engineering |
